Our Story

Positive Role Models Foundation (PRMF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) located in Konongo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It was established by Dr. Steve Ogbordjor who is currently the Chief Executive officer and Medical Director of the First Klass Hospital.
The idea of establishing this NGO was birthed in Donkorkrom in 2002. This was the period when Dr. Ogbordjor served as a Senior Medical Officer in the deprived communities of the Afram Plains and its environs. Being born in a small Village called Kakama Bunase in the Eastern Region of Ghana, and having spent the first two decades of his life in a typical rural community devoid of potable water and electricity, Dr. Ogbordjor is very well acquainted with all the nuances of Rural poverty. It was the early childhood experiences of Dr. Ogbordjor coupled with what he saw during the several years of rural practice that birthed a passion in him to establish this NGO which aims at helping to eradicate Rural poverty so as to alleviate the suffering of Rural folks.
